Abdul Karim Impresses Falak

Abdul Karim stole the spotlight after scoring a brilliant brace in a match that ended 2-2 after regular time.

In his first start for Barcelona, the 18-year-old Abdul Karim scored the opening goal for the Catalan club from a penalty kick in the 42nd minute before adding a second in the 60th.

He continued: “Abdul Karim is a striker who positions himself well inside the penalty area. That is what I expect from a number 9: to focus on the penalty area, as that is his role.”

Meanwhile, Barcelona has signed young Belgian winger Jesse Biesewij, 18, on a contract until 2031, joining from the reserve team of Club Brugge.

Barcelona did not disclose the transfer fee, but according to local media, the deal is worth around 8.5 million euros ($9.9 million), with Club Brugge set to receive 20% of any future sale of the player.
