Continuation of the comprehensive security campaign in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh in cooperation with relevant authorities
Under the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, and led by the Assistant Minister of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahab, and in coordination with relevant government entities, the Ministry of Interior continues to implement a comprehensive security campaign in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. This follows field measures aimed at eliminating violations, enhancing public security and order, and addressing existing infractions in the area. Previous phases of the campaign have resulted in the evacuation of illegal residences and the apprehension of a large number of security wanted persons and individuals violating residency and labor laws.
The Ministry of Interior emphasizes that security agencies and field teams, in cooperation with relevant government entities, are continuing their operations by inspecting evacuated residences and monitoring and apprehending any attempts to violate security procedures or decisions issued by competent authorities. It stresses that all legal measures will be taken against anyone proven to be in violation, and that security campaigns will continue and cover all non-compliant areas according to a comprehensive field plan, contributing to the preservation of public security and order, preventing the recurrence of violations, and enhancing the quality of life.
Electricity loads in Al-Farwaniya Governorate have been reduced by 60 percent as a result of disconnecting power supply to 1,200 illegal residences.
The total number of individuals examined in the field is 376.
