Al-Atwan: Surveillance and destruction of hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced that the Armed Forces had detected hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Friday, and that they were intercepted and destroyed.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, Al-Atwan said that the reprehensible Iranian aggression targeted several vital and military installations. The hostile targets were intercepted and destroyed, resulting in material damage due to falling debris, with no human casualties reported.

He reaffirmed that the Armed Forces continue to carry out their duties and responsibilities with high efficiency, under conditions of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, taking all necessary measures to protect the nation’s sovereignty and safeguard its security and stability, in coordination with the relevant authorities, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
