Al-Jahra Governor: Continuing efforts to meet 'Healthy Cities' requirements

Al-Jahra Governor Hamad Al-Habashi emphasized the importance of continuing coordination among relevant authorities and persisting in efforts to meet the requirements of the Healthy Cities program, commending the efforts made to support initiatives that enhance community health and contribute to improving the quality of life in Al-Jahra Governorate.

This came during the Governor’s meeting, on Thursday, with the Healthy Cities Management Team from the Ministry of Health and the Supreme Coordinating Committee for Al-Jahra Governorate’s Healthy Cities, chaired by General Coordinator Dr. Laila Hamad Al-Hais, and attended by Dr. Batool Bouabbas and Fatima Safar, as part of follow-up efforts to strengthen the implementation of Healthy Cities standards in the governorate.

The Governor listened to a presentation on the results of the field visit, which included Saad Al-Abdullah, Al-Nuaim, Al-Jahra, and Al-Ayoun health centers, focusing on assessing readiness levels, identifying needs and observations, and exploring ways to develop the work environment and enhance services provided to visitors.
