For Used Books... Exhibition at the Writers' Association

The Kuwait Writers Association is preparing to organize its summer used book fair from August 2 to 4 at its headquarters in Adailiya during evening hours. This initiative reflects the association’s role in supporting Kuwait’s cultural development, fostering social interaction among writers and intellectuals, and encouraging reading across all age groups and fields at symbolic prices.

In this context, the books offered at the fair are donated by association members. Some members also wish to sell their own used books for personal profit, with a percentage of the sales proceeds contributing to the association’s budget as operational revenue.

Notably, the fair underscores the association’s ongoing efforts to support cultural and literary activities in Kuwait, providing enthusiasts and specialists with access to a diverse range of new and old books at affordable prices.

Separately, the Kuwait Writers Association will participate in the summer book fair organized by the Graduates Association from August 19 to 23 at its headquarters in Bin Qar. The association will allow its members to showcase copies of their diverse literary works, both old and new, aiming to boost book sales for authors and facilitate book acquisition for readers.
