Dafi to Al-Rai: Bringing songs and surprises for SOLARA SHOW 3
Kuwaiti rap star Dafi expressed his great anticipation for meeting his fans at the third edition of the “SOLARA SHOW” concerts, scheduled for August 21 at the Raaya Hall stage in the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. He emphasized that the evening would be different on all levels, both in terms of song selection and the surprises being prepared, given the participation of a select group of the most prominent rap and hip-hop stars in Kuwait and the Gulf region.
In a statement to “Al-Rai,” Dafi said the concert follows the major successes achieved by the previous two editions, which has further increased the artists’ enthusiasm to deliver a more advanced version worthy of the audience that has been keen to attend the event since its launch a year ago. He added, “Each concert carries greater responsibility than the one before it, because the audience always expects something new. Therefore, I made sure to prepare diverse segments, along with a set of surprises that I hope will impress the attendees, especially since preparations began some time ago to achieve the best possible outcome.”
Dafi revealed that he would perform a collection of his most famous works with which his audience is familiar, including “Shoufha,” “Sambousek,” “Hala Walla,” and “DJ 6/8,” as well as other tracks he promised to present that night. He explained that the song selection was tailored to suit the atmosphere of the evening, aiming to give the audience a night filled with excitement, energy, and interaction.
He noted that the success of rap concerts in recent times reflects the development this musical genre is experiencing in Kuwait and the Gulf, stating, “Rap today has become an important part of the musical landscape and has managed to reach different age groups, thanks to the efforts of artists and the strong support we receive from the audience, which always pushes us to deliver our best.”
Dafi expressed his pride in sharing the stage with a select group of Kuwaiti and Gulf rap stars at this evening, produced and organized by SOLARA PRODUTION. He said, “I am very happy to stand on stage alongside Ozi, Luigi, and DJ 7, as well as Fortex, Abdullah Trawl, Dawood, and Louzi. They are all stars with their own unique imprint, who have achieved significant success and built a wide fan base. This gives the concert great artistic value and makes it an exceptional event for fans of this musical genre.”
He continued, “We do not view each other as competitors, but as one generation striving to elevate Gulf rap and present an honorable image of it. Each artist has their own style and artistic personality, and this diversity is what will give the audience a different and rich experience on stage.”
Dafi concluded his statement by emphasizing that the audience is in for an exceptional night, saying, “We will do everything in our power to give them an evening that remains in memory, because the success of any concert begins with audience interaction.
