National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters to Soon Launch "Sur Al-Hamayel"

The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters continues to support national works that reflect Kuwaiti identity and consolidate the folk heritage, through its readiness to launch the new national performance “Sur Al-Humayil.” This production brings together a select group of creators in the fields of artistic vision, poetry, composition, and singing, in a work imbued with national themes that express pride in the country and its leadership, and affirm values of loyalty, sacrifice, and belonging.

“Sur Al-Humayil” draws its spirit from the Kuwaiti Ardah, one of the most prominent folk arts associated with national occasions. Its lyrics are laden with images of pride, dignity, and adherence to authentic principles, emphasizing that the nation remains immortal through the contributions and sacrifices of its sons, and that its honor and sovereignty transcend all considerations.
