Yarmouk and Salwa push forward in the First Division

Al-Sahel retained top spot in the Zain League First Division standings despite drawing 1-1 with Khaitan, raising his points tally to 33. In the first match, Al-Sahel took the lead through Brazilian player Clinto Jesus, but Khaitan managed to equalize with a goal from Syrian player Hamid Al-Hussein.

In two other matches, Al-Salmiya secured an easy victory over Al-Shamya with a brace from Brazilians Daniel Santos and Bruno Domingos, and a goal from Alisson Pepe. Meanwhile, Al-Jazira kept his playoff hopes alive by defeating Burqan 2-0, with goals from Moroccan player Marwan Zila and Ivorian player Charles Yao, raising his points total to 28 and placing him fourth.
