Jordanian Army announces downing of 5 Iranian missiles targeting the Kingdom's territory

The Jordanian military announced in a statement on Thursday that its air defenses intercepted and shot down five missiles of Iranian origin that were targeting the kingdom, with no casualties reported.

The statement quoted the official spokesperson for the armed forces as saying that “the air defenses dealt with five missiles coming from Iran that targeted the kingdom’s territory, where they were detected, intercepted, and shot down,” adding that there were “no human casualties.”
