Saudi Defense: Interception and destruction of several drones in recent hours

The official spokesperson for the Saudi Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that air defenses intercepted and destroyed several drones over the past hours that had attempted to target petroleum facilities in the Eastern Province, according to a post by the ministry on its X account.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki clarified that these terrorist attempts were launched again from Iraqi territory and carried out by Iran-backed terrorist militias, affirming the Kingdom’s inherent right to defend itself and its assets, as well as its right to respond at the time and place of its choosing.
