$750 million proceeds from three Gulf subscriptions in the second quarter of 2026

Arabic - The Gulf region’s initial public offering market continued to register weak performance during the second quarter of this year, amid the ongoing war in the Middle East and its impact on investor appetite and market conditions.

According to S&P Global data, the region saw only three IPOs in the second quarter, raising approximately $750 million, continuing the slowdown that began in the first quarter, which recorded four IPOs with total proceeds of $437 million.

The Oman Fertilizer Company “Oman Fertilizer Company” (OFC) topped the listings in the second quarter, having raised $677.5 million, accounting for the largest share of total IPO proceeds.

In Saudi Arabia, the market saw the listing of two companies: Dar Al-Balad for Solutions, which raised $54.6 million, and Masqa for Investment, which raised $17.8 million.
