Juventus wants to sign Suzuki

The name of Japan national team goalkeeper Shoyo Suzuki tops Juventus’s alternative plan, should negotiations to sign veteran Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from English club Aston Villa fail.

Juventus would like to give Suzuki the opportunity to become the team’s first-choice goalkeeper, whereas Paris Saint-Germain’s plan differs, as they wish to loan him if they are unable to sell French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

Juventus has submitted an initial offer to Suzuki’s current club, Parma, to sign him, but no agreement has been reached yet because the offer does not meet the financial value demanded.

Romano confirmed: “The final decision lies with the Japanese goalkeeper, alongside reaching a financial agreement with Parma, which is keen to settle the goalkeeper’s future as soon as possible to negotiate a replacement.”
