Frustration of a quantity of "raw liquid meth" intended for manufacturing and promotion within the country

The General Directorate of Narcotics Control at the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation and coordination with its counterparts in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia, foiled an attempt to smuggle a quantity of raw liquid methamphetamine intended for manufacturing and distribution within the country.

This targeted security operation followed the exchange of precise intelligence and intensive field surveillance, which led to the arrest of a repeat offender with a history of drug trafficking offenses. Authorities found approximately five liters of raw liquid methamphetamine in his possession, an amount sufficient to produce around 15 kilograms of ready-to-distribute methamphetamine.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that this operation demonstrates the effectiveness of Gulf security cooperation in combating the scourge of drugs, and highlights the success of proactive efforts in tracking and tracing drug sources and thwarting attempts to manufacture and distribute them, thereby contributing to the protection of society and the preservation of its security and safety.
