Al-Khaleej reopens Al-Jahra branch of the Kuwait Association

In a new move reflecting its commitment to sustainability and innovation, Gulf Bank reopened the renovated branch of the Al Jahra Association, adding a distinctive asset to its network of over 45 branches spread across various areas of Kuwait. This initiative aligns with Gulf Bank’s 2030 strategy, which places customer experience at the forefront of its core pillars, and is consistent with Kuwait Vision 2035, which aims to build a sustainable economy and reduce carbon emissions.
Gulf Bank ensured that the renovated Al Jahra Association branch stands out with a modern design that meets the latest global standards in banking services. The branch has been equipped with cutting-edge technologies to make the customer experience smoother and faster. Among the key services is an interactive automated teller machine (ATM) that operates 24/7, allowing customers to conduct their transactions at any time.
In line with the bank’s commitment to sustainability, a range of green building standards have been implemented in the renovated branch. These include increasing green spaces both inside and outside the branch, maximizing natural lighting, using sensors to optimize energy consumption, and providing a charging station for electric vehicles.
On this occasion, Bassel Al-Asad, Deputy General Manager of Personal Banking, emphasized that the renovated branches represent a qualitative leap in the customer experience, combining sustainable modern design with fast and advanced banking services.
He added that, alongside branch development, Gulf Bank continues to invest in its digital services, offering a mobile banking app that is among the easiest and fastest in the sector. Additionally, the bank has upgraded its customer service center and interactive voice response system, giving customers the freedom to choose how and where they conduct their banking transactions.
The reopening of the renovated branch marks an important step in the bank’s journey toward sustainable transformation, integrating modern technological services with environmental standards to deliver a comprehensive, eco-friendly banking experience that reflects the bank’s vision of being a leader in Kuwait in innovation and sustainability.
It is worth noting that Gulf Bank recently received the “Branch Innovation” award in Kuwait, as part of the 2026 Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards, recognizing its ongoing efforts to transform its branch network into sustainable, eco-friendly branches that leverage the latest digital technologies and align with future aspirations.
