11.5% increase in tax and fee revenues to 676.7 million Kuwaiti dinars

The final account of the State’s financial administration showed that Kuwait’s non-oil revenues rose by 6.23 percent, or by 168.29 million dinars, to reach 2.868 billion dinars in the final account for the fiscal year 2025/2026, up from 2.699 billion dinars in 2024/2025. Revenues from goods and services and other items amounted to 2.024 billion dinars. Meanwhile, tax and fee revenues increased by 11.5 percent, or by approximately 70.25 million dinars, to reach 676.741 million dinars, compared to 606.48 million dinars previously. Social contributions also rose by 31.12 percent to 146.793 million dinars, up from 111.95 million dinars. Revenue from asset disposals and other non-operating revenues stood at approximately 19.709 million dinars.
On the expenditure side, salaries accounted for 9.829 billion dinars, while employee compensation reached approximately 3.717 billion dinars. Social assistance amounted to approximately 1.074 billion dinars, and capital expenditures totaled approximately 5.670 billion dinars.
Expenditures on social benefits reached approximately 479.127 million dinars, while the item for other expenditures and transfers stood at approximately 1.381 billion dinars, and other expenditures amounted to 1.447 billion dinars.
