Horses and birds are not covered by "grazing"

Sources close to the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources informed Al-Rai that the law regulating grazing restricts the issuance of licenses exclusively to owners of camel, sheep, and cattle herds, with no provisions allowing for licenses for poultry, horses, or other animals.

The sources clarified that enclosures designated for poultry, horses, and other uses not covered by the law will be included in the demolition campaign set to begin on October 1 of next year, as part of efforts to enforce the law, regulate grazing sites, and eliminate violations.

They urged livestock owners not to delay licensing procedures, but to expedite booking an appointment via the “Mata” platform, complete the required documents, and visit the Forestry Department at the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources to obtain official licenses before the deadline expires, in order to avoid legal action against violators.
