Destruction of over 61 kg of spoiled fish in Khaitan

The Authority, represented by the Food Inspection Center, conducted an inspection tour of food establishments in the Kuwait City area. The tour resulted in issuing a number of violations against establishments that sold food unfit for human consumption and dealt in adulterated food, as well as the destruction of more than 61 kilograms of spoiled fish.

The Authority emphasized that “this tour is part of its ongoing supervisory campaigns on food establishments, with the aim of enhancing compliance with health requirements, ensuring the safety of food circulating in the markets, and protecting consumer health.”
