"Trولي" recommends $3 million to contribute to the Emergency Response Fund

Strong communities are built every day through the efforts of individuals, institutions, and companies that serve them, and when facing exceptional circumstances, protecting these communities becomes a shared national responsibility.

Guided by this conviction, Trolley General Trading Company announced that its Board of Directors has approved a recommendation to contribute $3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting Kuwait and the communities it has proudly served since 2010.

This recommendation supports the national initiative aimed at enhancing Kuwait’s preparedness and strengthening its capacity to respond to exceptional circumstances and emergencies. Trolley believes that building more resilient communities requires the combined efforts of both the public and private sectors to ensure the continuity of essential services and bolster the state’s ability to confront challenges.

Over nearly two decades, Trolley has become an integral part of daily life in Kuwait, through a growing network of branches serving various areas, fostering relationships based on trust, accessibility, and closeness to the community. This recommendation reflects the company’s conviction that its responsibility extends beyond the retail sector, encompassing contributions to initiatives that strengthen society and the nation.

The Board of Directors has also approved convening the Ordinary General Assembly, where the recommendation will be presented to shareholders for approval, in accordance with applicable regulatory procedures and requirements.

As a Kuwaiti company that was founded and grew in Kuwait, Trolley continues to uphold its commitment to creating a positive impact beyond its operational activities, by supporting initiatives that enhance community well-being, reinforce the foundations of national resilience, and contribute to building a more sustainable future for coming generations.
