Real Madrid offers €100 million to sign Dembélé

Real Madrid offers €100 million to sign Dembélé

Both Arsenal, the English Premier League champions, and runners-up Manchester City, have been in contact over the past few days in an attempt to sign young Ivorian international Leipzig winger Youssoufa Moukoko. However, the player has no intention of changing his destination, having previously expressed his desire to join French club Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite Moukoko (19) reaching an agreement with the Parisian club on a contract valid until 2031, PSG has not yet reached a deal with Leipzig, leaving the door open for interested clubs.

Reports indicate that Spanish club Real Madrid submitted a formal offer worth 100 million euros, comprising 90 million euros fixed and 10 million euros in incentives. However, Leipzig also rejected the offer, demanding a fee of approximately 130 million euros, with a preference that the majority of the value be guaranteed rather than tied to performance bonuses.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal and City have been in contact over the past ten days to explore the possibility of signing Moukoko, but the player has shown no openness to moving to either club.

Romano added that neither club has submitted a formal offer, nor are they moving with the same intensity as Real Madrid.

For his part, Florian Plettenberg from Sky Germany confirmed that Real Madrid has already submitted its formal offer, which was rejected. He noted that PSG has not yet made a formal offer, with communication limited to talks between PSG president, Qatari Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and Leipzig’s Oliver Mintzlaff.
