Kuwait’s “Hand of Youth” Defeats China

Kuwait defeated China 36-31 on Saturday in the fifth-to-eighth place classification matches of the 19th Asian Youth Handball Championship, which concludes on Monday in Suzhou, China, and serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Championship in North Macedonia.

The “Blue Youth” team maintained their dominance in the second half to secure the 36-31 victory.

The United Arab Emirates and South Korea advanced to the final after thrilling semi-final wins over Saudi Arabia, 31-30, and Bahrain, 32-31, respectively. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will compete for third and fourth place on Monday.
