Mubarak Al-Nawaf praises the Prime Minister's patronage of athletes

Sheikh Mubarak Faisal Al-Nawaf, Deputy Chairman of the Kuwait Olympic Committee, praised the generous patronage extended by the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad, to the ceremony honoring outstanding Kuwaiti athletes. He emphasized that this initiative reflects the state’s appreciation for the sporting contributions of Kuwaiti athletes and highlights the continuous support afforded to the sports movement by the political leadership.

Al-Nawaf stated that the Prime Minister’s presence and patronage of the event carry significant implications, underscoring the state’s commitment to standing by athletes and honoring those who have achieved excellence. He noted that it also serves as an incentive to continue the trajectory of success and contribution, and to consolidate the standing of Kuwaiti sports at both the regional and international levels.

Al-Nawaf commended the efforts of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, and the Acting Director General of the General Sports Authority, Bashar Abdullah, in preparing and organizing the ceremony, which aims to recognize athletes who have delivered outstanding achievements and to reinforce a culture of gratitude and appreciation for all those who contribute to raising Kuwait’s flag high.
