The 'Cockroach Party' Ousted India's Education Minister

Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced his resignation on the sixth day of student protests demanding his removal from office amid a series of practices linked to cheating in university examinations.

The minister wrote on his X account: “Given the situation emerging in Jantar Mantar (the square in New Delhi where protesters have been gathering since Monday) and across the country... I have decided to submit my letter of resignation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”
