Chief of Staff Discusses with His Italian Counterpart Strengthening the Strategic Defense Partnership

The General Staff of the Armed Forces stated in a statement on Friday that this came during the official visit being made by Lieutenant General Al-Shari’an to the friendly Republic of Italy, where he was accorded an official welcome ceremony at the headquarters of the Italian General Staff in the capital, Rome.

It added that the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Italy were reviewed during the meeting, and that ways to enhance joint military cooperation and strengthen the strategic defense partnership between the two friendly countries were discussed.

It further noted that the current situation in the region and ways to enhance security and stability were also discussed during the meeting.
