Four Palestinians martyred by Israeli occupation gunfire south of Nablus

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that four Palestinians were martyred early Friday morning after being shot by Israeli occupation forces on the outskirts of Tal village, south of Nablus in the West Bank.

In a statement, the ministry said that four young Palestinians were killed and four others were injured by Israeli occupation fire in the town, with three of the injured in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses stated that settlers attacked the outskirts of the town, prompting several youths to confront them and leading to a physical altercation. They noted that when Israeli occupation forces arrived, their personnel opened fire on the youths, resulting in the deaths of four and injuries to four others.

Footage captured by residents showed the moment an Israeli occupation patrol arrived at the scene and fired at close range at the youths, preventing residents from reaching them due to the intensity of the gunfire.

Meanwhile, local sources confirmed that Israeli occupation forces closed military checkpoints at the entrances to Nablus and shut military gates at the entrances to villages and towns to the west of the city.

This comes less than 24 hours after two Palestinians were killed and others were injured by Israeli occupation fire in the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
