US Army announces start of new round of strikes on Iran

A statement from U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on the X platform said that “U.S. forces began a new night of strikes against Iranian military targets at 6:45 p.m. Eastern Time today (22:45 UTC),” adding that “these strikes aim to hold Iran accountable and curb the threats posed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to commercial navigation.”
