Kuwait condemns the incursion of crowds of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation of the incursion by a crowd of settlers into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces and with the participation of ministers from the occupation government, in a grave violation of international law and international humanitarian law. The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s firm rejection of all provocative practices that undermine the legal and historical status quo in Jerusalem and its holy sites, renewing its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities in halting these violations.
The Ministry reiterated Kuwait’s steadfast position supporting the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the fraternal Palestinian people, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
