Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Interior Expand Regulatory Coordination... Immediate Expulsion of Serious Commercial Offenders

The Commercial Control Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry held a meeting with representatives from the Ministry of Interior to discuss enhancing joint coordination regarding inspection campaigns against violators across various regions of the country.
Faisal Al-Ansari, Director of the Commercial Control Department, stated in a media statement that the meeting addressed cooperation mechanisms between the two sides, ensuring the participation of Ministry of Interior personnel in inspection campaigns. This, he noted, would facilitate procedures and support control teams in carrying out their duties.
He pointed out that the Commercial Control team presented the operational mechanism of the joint operations room supervised by the Ministry, which oversees and monitors the activities of 71 cooperative societies, as well as supply centers. He added that efforts are underway to link the Ministry of Interior with the room to monitor security aspects related to its tasks.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry honored representatives of the Ministry of Interior in appreciation of their continuous efforts to support inspection operations and contribute to the success of recent control campaigns carried out in several areas, including the capital, Hawalli, and Jaleeb Al-Shuyoukh.
The honored officials included Brigadier General Abdulwahab Al-Badr, Assistant Director General of Criminal Investigations for Criminal Research Affairs in the Governorates; Colonel Jamal Al-Faraj, Director of Hawalli Governorate Criminal Investigations; and Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Omar, Director General of the Capital Security Directorate, in recognition of their role in enhancing joint cooperation and supporting control and inspection efforts.
