3,278 traffic violations in just 24 hours

A traffic campaign launched last Tuesday resulted in the issuance of 3,278 direct traffic violations against vehicle drivers. The violations varied between exceeding the speed limit, using a mobile phone while driving, towing regulations, radar-related offenses, and window tinting.
During the traffic deployment, 17 wanted individuals with arrest warrants were apprehended and handed over to the competent security authorities. Four minors were caught driving without a license, three individuals were referred for preventive detention for 48 hours, and one vehicle was seized by judicial order.
The traffic campaign also targeted hospitals, where traffic officers recorded 184 various traffic violations, including obstructing traffic and no-parking infractions, in addition to seizing three vehicles for a period of 60 days.
