Kuwait to London Camp... Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Friday, a delegation from the Kuwait Club football team will depart for the British capital, London, to hold a training camp lasting until August 15 in preparation for the new season, which kicks off on the 25th of the same month.
The delegation includes the administrative, technical, and medical staff, along with 27 players: Saud Al-Houshan, Khaled Al-Rashidi, Abdulrahman Kamel, Fahd Hamoud, Sami Al-Sana, Mishaari Ghanim, Mohammed Faraih, Ali Hussein, Mohsen Fallah, Reda Hani, Faisal Zayed, Ahmed Al-Dhafiri, Hamoud Al-Sanousi, Amr Abdel Fattah, Mohammed Daham, Ibrahim Kamel, Youssef Nasser, Fares Fadel, as well as the players signed this summer: Hassan Hamdan, Salman Al-Awadi, Mubarak Mahamid, and Abdullah Al-Qarazi.
Al-Kuwait is expected to play several friendly matches against English clubs, according to the training camp schedule set by the new head coach, Portuguese manager Alexandre Santos, who replaced Montenegrin Nebojsa Jovovic.
The "Whites" are preparing to compete in domestic tournaments and defend the league title, which they have monopolized over the past five seasons, as well as to compete for the titles of the Emir Cup, the Crown Prince Cup, and the Super Cup.
Internationally, the team faces a new challenge in the AFC Champions League Two, for which they qualified after winning the Asian Challenge Cup last season.
The club is awaiting the tournament draw, which will be held on August 18 in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, where they have been placed in Pot 3.
Meanwhile, in the Turkish city of Yalova, Al-Qadsiah SC has begun its training camp, which started there yesterday.
At Al-Shabab Club, which continues its preparations locally, the team’s administrative staff was announced, headed by board member Jaber Al-Zanqali. The staff includes Masoud Mokhtar as deputy head, Sarour as team manager, Fahd Al-Assaf and Ali Habib as administrators, Meshal Al-Otaibi as the professional affairs manager, and Faisal Al-Fadli as the media coordinator.
The club also announced the return of defender Saad Al-Athab to its squad for the upcoming season on loan from Al-Kaiteen Club, which holds the player’s registration card and signed him from Al-Ahmad Blue in January.
