"Al-Khaleej" Equips Youth with Financial Skills

- 20 Years of Partnership with “Achieve Kuwait” in Preparing Youth for the Labor Market and Enhancing Their Entrepreneurial Capabilities

As part of its ongoing support for youth empowerment, Gulf Bank participated in the “Achieve” 2026 Field Training Exhibition, held from July 21 to 23 at the Symphony Hotel in Salmiya, alongside a large number of banks and major companies from various economic sectors.

The bank’s participation reflects its broader strategy aimed at equipping young people with the practical skills, professional experience, and financial knowledge necessary to succeed in a dynamic economy, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through constructive collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions.

During the exhibition, the bank’s Human Resources team showcased the exceptional training opportunities offered to university students, along with its innovative banking services and marketing offerings specifically designed to meet their needs, keep pace with their aspirations, and suit their modern lifestyle.

The bank’s booth attracted a wide range of young attendees and exhibition visitors, who expressed interest in securing training opportunities within the bank, enabling them to gain insight into the banking work environment and acquire practical experience that enhances their readiness for the labor market.

Throughout the event, the bank’s team highlighted its youth-oriented products, notably the “red” account, which offers customers exclusive benefits, as well as the “red plus” prepaid card, which helps young people manage their daily expenses flexibly.

The team also presented the exclusive benefits recently launched as part of the “Discover in Red” campaign, alongside the Gulf Points program, which allows customers to enjoy various discounts and rewards, thereby enhancing the value of the banking experience and making it more closely aligned with the lifestyle of young people.

The bank’s team placed special emphasis on financial awareness during the exhibition, dedicating a section of its booth to educating visitors about the risks of financial fraud and ways to protect their banking data, as part of its continued support for the national “Let’s Be Aware” campaign.

In recognition of its pioneering role in offering innovative banking products targeted at youth, particularly the “red” account and “red plus” card, Gulf Bank recently won the Best Product for Generation Z award at the 2026 Asian Banking & Finance Retail Banking Awards.

Gulf Bank continues its strategic partnership with the Kuwait Achieve Association, which has spanned more than 20 years, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to supporting and empowering youth through training and entrepreneurial programs aimed at preparing them for the labor market, enhancing their entrepreneurial capabilities, and contributing to building a new generation of future leaders and entrepreneurs.
