Tariq Al-Roumi: Enhancing cooperation and coordination with Oman in various fields

KUNA – Kuwaiti Minister of Oil and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Tariq Al-Roumi, affirmed the deep historical and fraternal ties between Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the shared commitment to continuing to enhance cooperation and coordination in various fields, particularly in the oil and energy sectors. This supports the strategic partnership between the oil sectors of the two countries, serves common interests, and reflects the strength of bilateral relations.

The Ministry of Oil stated in a press release on Thursday that this came during Minister Al-Roumi’s reception of the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kuwait, Dr. Saleh Al-Kharousi, at his office, on the occasion of the conclusion of his tenure as ambassador.

Al-Roumi praised Ambassador Al-Kharousi’s sincere efforts throughout his posting in Kuwait and his significant contributions to consolidating fraternal relations and enhancing joint cooperation between Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman, particularly in the oil and energy sectors. He wished him continued success and achievement in his future assignments.

For his part, Al-Kharousi expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to Kuwait’s leadership, government, and people, as well as to the Kuwaiti oil sector, for the cooperation and support he received throughout his tenure. He reaffirmed his pride in the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and wished Kuwait and its people continued progress, prosperity, and flourishing.
