Relative Humidity at the End of the Week

The Meteorology Department has forecast that the country’s weather over the weekend will be extremely hot during the day and hot to warm at night, with relatively high humidity, particularly in coastal areas.

Director of the Department, acting director Derrar Al-Ali, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that “the country is affected by an extension of the Indian monsoon low, accompanied by a very hot air mass and light to moderate-speed northwesterly winds.” He clarified that “tomorrow daytime weather will be extremely hot, with northwesterly to variable-direction winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius, while sea conditions will be light to moderate, with wave heights between 1 and 3 feet. At night, temperatures will range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius.”

Regarding Saturday’s daytime weather, Al-Ali said it will be extremely hot and relatively humid in coastal areas, with northwesterly to variable-direction winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 30 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 47 and 49 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will range between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius. Sea conditions will be light to moderate, with wave heights between 2 and 4 feet.
