The Media War and the Islamic Republic!
I am not exaggerating when I say that the media war is no less fierce than the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran. I will not even add the third party, namely Israel, which appears to have become a sister state to the Iranian regime. Tehran has stopped firing missiles at Tel Aviv, confining itself in recent periods to directing missiles and drones toward Arab Gulf states, specifically Kuwait and Bahrain.
As mentioned, the media war is fierce in every sense of the word. The Iranian regime has mobilized its media mouthpieces in Gulf Arab channels to broadcast their toxic narratives, portraying Iran as a peaceful state defending itself and its interests by striking US bases in the region. This is a lie that Iran believes and seeks to convince the Arab Gulf public of, even as US warships and aircraft carriers are within sight. The Iranian regime allows its airspace to be violated without any reaction, lacking the satellites needed to monitor anything—neither missiles nor drones—yet it falsely claims they are launched from Kuwait! Despite official Kuwaiti denials that US bases in Kuwait are being used to launch missiles from its territory, the most telling example is that not a single US soldier was killed in Kuwait, whereas several US soldiers were killed in Jordan. The United States would not have been able to conceal such an incident if a US soldier had been killed in Kuwait. Moreover, the Iranian regime did not stop at striking bases; it went further to attack power stations. Are power stations considered US bases?
Continuing the media war, Sadeghian—who is of Iraqi nationality and resides in Iran—recently tweeted that the new Supreme Leader met with Revolutionary Guard commanders last Monday. Sir, what is your source, given that you currently reside in Doha?!
Is it really that naive to expect us to believe the meeting’s date? This is in addition to the fabricated lies he presents during interviews. It is also shameful for someone of Iraqi nationality to simultaneously act as a defender and advocate for the Iranian regime, which violated Iraq since the fall of Saddam’s regime, even going so far as to appoint the Prime Minister from Tehran!
Arab Gulf states have successfully managed to avoid being drawn into direct war with the Iranian regime, exercising remarkable restraint—a positive attribute for the Gulf states. This comes despite repeated attempts by the Iranian regime to drag them into a full-scale direct conflict. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard fully understands that war, not peace, keeps the regime’s symbols in power. Peace is far more dangerous, as the Iranian economy is undergoing a recovery phase and will not rebound in the near future.
May God protect Kuwait and its people, and may God bless our heroic soldiers, who have proven their high competence in confronting Iranian missiles and drones.
