A balanced squad for Kuwait at the Asian Games

The draw for the football competition at the 2026 Asian Games, to be hosted in Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, has placed the Kuwait national team in a balanced Group 3 alongside Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and the Philippines.

The football tournament, held from September 14 to October 4, features under-23 national teams from across the continent.

Group 1 includes host nation Japan, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, and Hong Kong. Group 2 comprises China, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, and North Korea, while Group 4 contains South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
