Kuwait's basketball team to face Oman in the opening of the Gulf Championship ... Saturday

Kuwait will face Oman at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday in the opening match of the Gulf Youth Basketball Championship, hosted in Doha until July 30, which serves as a qualifier for the Asian Cup finals in India.

In a second match, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The tournament is being held in a single-round robin format, with the top two teams qualifying for the Asian Championship in Hyderabad.

The “Blue Youth” team hopes to make a strong start that will boost their confidence as they compete for the Gulf title and secure a spot in the Asian Cup.
