Foreign Minister Chairs Meeting of the Border Committee

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that all agenda items were discussed during the meeting.

In a separate statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that the Foreign Minister congratulated Margetts on Ireland’s assumption of the rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union, wishing it success and achievement during its tenure.

It added that the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields were reviewed, along with discussions on current developments in the region.
