NAMA Distributes 3,000 Baby Milk Containers in Gaza

Namaa Charity, an affiliate of the Al-Islah Social Association, announced the implementation of a humanitarian project to distribute more than 3,000 bottles of infant formula in the Gaza Strip, in response to the worsening humanitarian conditions in the region amid severe shortages of food and medicine. These conditions have exacerbated the suffering of families, particularly mothers and infants, who face the risk of malnutrition and milk shortages.

The milk bottles were distributed in the most needy areas, in coordination with field teams, to ensure they reached infants suffering from a lack of available milk and difficulty accessing basic nutritional needs, thereby helping to alleviate family suffering and protect children during this critical phase.

In this context, Abdulaziz Al-Kandari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Namaa Charity, stated, “Our people in the Gaza Strip are enduring extremely harsh humanitarian conditions, with infants being among the most vulnerable and affected groups in this crisis. Access to infant formula has become a daily challenge that threatens the health of thousands of infants and intensifies their families’ suffering. From this perspective, Namaa Charity was keen to implement this urgent relief project, distributing more than 3,000 bottles of milk in the most needy areas to ensure they reach children who are in dire need of them.”

He added, “Under such circumstances, a bottle of milk is not just a nutritional item; it can be the means to protect a child from malnutrition and provide a family with some peace of mind amid a highly difficult humanitarian reality. Namaa Charity will continue, in cooperation with its field partners, to implement urgent relief projects that respond to the basic needs of affected families, in line with its humanitarian mission to assist disaster victims and alleviate their suffering wherever they are.”

Namaa Charity reaffirmed its ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people through the implementation of relief and humanitarian programs targeting the most vulnerable groups, calling on philanthropists and benefactors to continue supporting these humanitarian initiatives, which contribute to providing basic needs and protecting children and affected families in the Gaza Strip.
