Numbering of pieces in Al-Jaleeb and Al-Ruqa'i

Khaled Al-Mutairi, Deputy Chairman of the Municipal Council, announced that the Al-Farwaniya Governorate Committee approved, during its Wednesday meeting, the numbering of plots in the Jlib Al-Shuyukh and Al-Raqi areas. He noted that a proposal to construct a tunnel connecting the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area to the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area was rejected.

Meanwhile, the Al-Jahra Governorate Committee decided to refer a proposal by member Abdullah Al-Anzi regarding the construction of two pedestrian bridges on Al-Jahra Expressway 80, opposite the Al-Qirwan and Al-Doha areas, to the Executive Body of the Kuwait Municipality, with coordination to be made with relevant authorities and alternative sites to be identified in the two areas.

During the meeting, the committee also approved a request from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to allocate a residential site for an imam and a muezzin in Al-Jahra, Plot 93. It also upheld the Council’s decision concerning the Ministry Complex building in the governorate.
