Governor Mubarak Leads Expanded Meeting to Accelerate Project Implementation and Road Development

Sheikh Sabah Badr Al-Salim, the Governor of Mubarak Al-Kabeer and the Acting Governor of Hawalli, chaired an expanded meeting attended by senior officials from the General Directorate of Traffic and representatives of government and service agencies, to discuss mechanisms for accelerating the implementation of developmental and service projects, and to enhance traffic and engineering solutions that contribute to developing infrastructure and improving service levels.
In this context, the Governor emphasized that working with a spirit of teamwork and continuous coordination among government entities constitute a fundamental pillar for accelerating project completion and overcoming obstacles. He stressed the importance of field follow-up and taking necessary measures to ensure that projects are implemented according to specified schedules, thereby meeting the aspirations of citizens and residents and enhancing the quality of services and sustainable development in the governorate.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the General Directorate of Traffic, Kuwait Municipality, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, the Public Institution for Housing, the Public Authority for Environmental Affairs, Kuwait Oil Company, and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, as part of efforts to strengthen coordination and integration among various concerned entities.
Participants discussed updates on current and future projects in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, and mechanisms for direct coordination among competent authorities to implement traffic and engineering solutions that help reduce congestion, improve the efficiency of the road network, and enhance infrastructure and public services in line with the governorate’s urban growth.
