"The Engineers": Volunteer Cooperation Elevated Our Developmental Role in Serving Kuwait
The General Assembly convened on Tuesday, chaired by its president, Mohammed Fahed Al-Subaie, with the attendance of representatives from the Ministry of Social Affairs, including Aisha Al-Buwayjan, Director of the Non-Governmental Associations Administration, and Aliya Al-Awn, Head of the Non-Governmental Associations Department, along with a number of male and female employees of the ministry. Also present were Fahd Ardani Al-Otaibi, the Association’s Secretary-General; Ghazi Al-Mashayel, the Association’s Treasurer; members of the Association’s Board of Directors; and a large gathering of male and female engineers.
Following his welcome address to the attendees and his thanks to the Ministry of Social Affairs representatives for attending the General Assembly despite the treacherous attacks witnessed by Kuwait from the Iranian regime and the challenging circumstances the country is enduring, Al-Subaie praised the efforts of the male and female volunteers who had worked alongside him throughout the past year. He noted that they had fulfilled their duties with full responsibility and cooperation to elevate the engineering profession and their developmental role as male and female engineers, contributing effectively to the construction of their beloved homeland, Kuwait.
He stated, “Your efforts have been met with respect and appreciation. We have provided absolute support, within available means, to enhance our role as engineers serving the state, society, and the engineering profession, alongside our continuous pursuit of safeguarding engineers’ interests and strengthening their role in society and at their workplaces. We have received numerous official confirmations that the Association’s efforts are respected and appreciated by all.”
The attendees then voted unanimously on all agenda items, expressing their appreciation for the conducive atmosphere that enabled the General Assembly to conclude successfully, and commending the efforts of the volunteers, as well as the staff of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
