Trump announces resumption of direct flights to Lebanon after meeting Aoun

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he would allow the resumption of direct flights by U.S. airlines to Lebanon, after they had been suspended for decades. Trump stated on his Truth Social platform, “Following my meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, who has made tremendous efforts to develop his country, I am directing my administration to permit all U.S. airlines to operate direct flights to Lebanon, enabling Americans to visit this beautiful land with ease.”
