"Saved"... Success through collective unity and a reflection of social awareness and authentic spirit

In line with the Cabinet’s commitment to supporting the national campaign for conserving energy and water, “Waffir,” launched by the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and which has received widespread public response with the aim of rationalizing electricity and water consumption, the Cabinet expressed its sincere gratitude and highest appreciation to citizens and residents, as well as to all government entities, state institutions, media outlets, the private sector, and individuals, for their engagement with the campaign. This engagement has contributed to disseminating awareness messages across various social media platforms, thereby strengthening the culture of conserving and reducing electricity and water consumption during this exceptional period the country is going through, and supporting the stability of the national electricity and water systems.

At its Tuesday meeting, the Cabinet emphasized that this response and engagement reflected a high level of societal awareness and an authentic spirit of solidarity, manifested in the swift response and collective effort to serve the nation. It called on everyone to continue fostering a sense of shared responsibility, commitment, and cooperation in conserving electricity and water, enabling the Ministry to navigate this exceptional phase. The Cabinet also urged the entrenchment of conservation as a national and civilized behavior that contributes to protecting resources, serves the public interest, and ensures the sustainability of services for all.
