Al-Zayani and Faisal bin Farhan discussed ways to preserve regional security and stability

The two ministers also discussed “the consequences of Iran’s continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz on the safety of maritime navigation, energy and food supplies, and international trade, as well as ensuring international navigation in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea, and coordinating a joint position in the UN Security Council regarding regional issues and challenges.”

In this context, the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks targeting the Kingdom on Tuesday, affirming that all military units are at the highest levels of readiness to respond to any threats.

Citizens and residents were urged not to approach any foreign or suspicious objects that may result from the remnants of the attacks, and to report them immediately to the relevant authorities. Meanwhile, the Royal Engineers Corps has been placed on full alert to handle such incidents.
