Sableech: I aim to build a strong team

Al-Arabi Club’s football team continues its training sessions at its camp in Turkey in preparation for the upcoming season, which begins with an important match against Indian hosts East Bengal on August 12 in a playoff fixture for qualification to the group stage of the AFC Champions League Two.
The team is scheduled to play its first friendly match of the camp against Turkish side Erdemirspor at 5:30 PM on Thursday.
Speaking to the club’s media center, coach Sablic expressed his pride in coaching “Al-Akhdar” (The Green), adding, “It is an honor for me to coach at a great club like Al-Arabi. We have spent three days here, and I am very happy with the working environment, as everything is running smoothly.”
Ethiopian striker Kenyan Markini will join the camp as soon as his entry visa procedures for Turkey are completed. Meanwhile, the participation of Yusuf Majed and Yusuf Sabah depends on the completion of their travel formalities, while Talal Al-Matroud will join his teammates after finishing his academic exams.
In other news, Kazma Club announced the signing of international winger Ahmed Al-Zanqi from Al-Kuwait Club, making him the second player the “Orange” have acquired from the “White” club, following veteran defender Fahad Al-Hajeri.
At Sahel Club, which is preparing to resume First Division competition on the 25th, the team continues its training under the guidance of new coach Ali Abdul-Razzaq.
