Trump: Tehran is begging for an agreement... "It has not seen anything yet"

US President Donald Trump said that Iran is “eager” to reach an agreement with the United States, affirming that Tehran also wants to hold a meeting with Washington, but the US administration is “not interested” in conducting such a meeting at present.

Trump added in remarks to journalists during his reception of Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at the White House that “Iran has not seen anything yet,” adding, “We will strike the Alborz mountain region in Iran very soon.”

The US president confirmed that the blockade imposed on Iranian ports would remain in place, referring to the continuation of US pressure on Tehran.

Trump also stated that Iran would not acquire a nuclear weapon, adding, “We will strike any Iranian facility where a nuclear weapon is being produced.”

He noted that rebuilding Iran would take 20 to 25 years.

He further added, “You know we did this with the Houthis before, and we haven’t heard from them in a long time,” referring to the strikes Washington carried out against them prior to reaching a deal mediated by Oman in May 2025.
