Saudi Cabinet Condemns Baseless Claims by Houthi Militias

The Saudi Cabinet expressed its strongest condemnation on Tuesday of the baseless claims and false accusations by the Houthi terrorist militias regarding the siege of the Yemeni people and the ban on maritime navigation, as well as their involvement in regional conflicts to advance their sinister agenda and objectives. These actions have contributed to deepening the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people and threatening regional security and stability.

This statement was issued by Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Acting Minister of Media Ahmed Al-Rajih following a Cabinet session chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in Jeddah, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

In its statement, the Cabinet reaffirmed the Kingdom’s continued support for the brotherly Yemeni people and its legitimate government, as well as its commitment to taking resolute measures to protect its security and vessels in accordance with international law and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
