"Bayt al-Zakat": "Prisoners' Families" Support Program Assists 219 Families in 2025

The Bait Al-Zakat announced that its 2025 Prisoners’ Families Project contributed to providing support to 219 families of prisoners within Kuwait, as part of its efforts to strengthen social solidarity and alleviate the living burdens on eligible families.
Dr. Majid Al-Azmi, Acting Director General of Bait Al-Zakat, told KUNA that the results achieved by the project reflect the humanitarian impact of donors’ contributions and their direct role in supporting prisoners’ families and meeting their basic needs. He emphasized that “this support represents hope and a source of strength for these families, contributing to enhancing their social and economic stability.”
Al-Azmi added that Bait Al-Zakat continues to implement its social and humanitarian projects, driven by its mission to entrench the values of solidarity and compassion among members of society.
He expressed appreciation for the trust and continuous support of donors for Bait Al-Zakat’s projects, which help reach the most needy groups and provide assistance that preserves their dignity and alleviates their suffering.
