Destruction of more than 495 kg of meat in Al-Aridya

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition destroyed more than 495 kilograms of meat during an inspection round covering the Al-Aridiyah residential and industrial areas.

The Authority stated on its official account on the X platform that the round was carried out by the inspection control of Farwaniya Governorate, in cooperation with the Al-Firdaws Food Inspection Center. The operation resulted in the issuance of nine violation reports, in addition to a destruction report. A total of 459.2 kilograms of cut carcasses were destroyed due to the absence of an approved slaughterhouse stamp, which constitutes a violation of applicable health regulations and standards. Necessary legal actions were taken against the violators.
