Al-Khader in European program to develop goalkeepers

Kuwaiti goalkeeping coach Ali Al-Khadr is participating in a specialized European program for the development of goalkeepers, held in the Swiss city of Schaffhausen, with 60 of Europe’s top goalkeeping talents taking part.

Al-Khadr’s selection to join this elite group of experts and coaches reflects the standing he has achieved on the international stage and the quality of his coaching, following his experiences with the Brazilian national team and clubs competing in continental tournaments.

Speaking on the matter, Al-Khadr said, “I am very pleased to be part of this European program, which brings together a select group of promising talents from across Europe.”

He added, “Such experiences provide coaches with the opportunity to learn about the latest methods of goalkeeper development, as well as to exchange expertise with different training academies.”

Al-Khadr continued, “I look forward to benefiting from every detail and transferring this knowledge to the players I work with in the future.”

The program is among the European initiatives aimed at refining and developing young goalkeepers through specialized training supervised by international experts, with a focus on technical, tactical, and mental aspects, as well as the use of the latest modern training methods.
