Kuwait Condemns the Ongoing Unjust Iranian Aggression Against the Country

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s condemnation and strongest denunciation of the continued, culpable Iranian aggression against the country, the latest of which occurred today, in blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and to the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, as well as a serious breach of the rules of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
It reiterated that the continuation of these brazen attacks, while regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalation are underway, constitutes a systematic undermining of de-escalation efforts and flouts the international will supporting this path.
It emphasized that the security, sovereignty, and safety of Kuwait’s citizens and residents on its territory are inviolable, reaffirming Kuwait’s inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its security, and ensure its stability.
